Sunday, January 29th from 3-4pm enjoy a One-Act Play in Three Performances: January 29, February 1 and February 5 at the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU. Based on the powerful story that inspired the exhibition
 ‘Stitching History from the Holocaust‘. The true story of Paul and Hedwig “Hedy” Strnad who tragically perished in the Holocaust after failed attempts in 1939 to secure a visa to flee to the U.S. from Prague.

Stitching History from the Holocaust Exhibition – on view through March 19, 2017. An original exhibit created by and on loan from Jewish Museum Milwaukee on view through March 2017 tells the captivating story Paul & Hedy Strnad, who tragically perished in the Holocaust, but their memories live on in letters, sketches and the eight dresses meticulously created from Hedy’s designs, which form the core of the this memorable exhibit.
