Sunday, November 30th through Sunday, December 7th enjoy Afrikin Art Fair during Miami Art Week. This exhibition is a curated selection of works by artists from Africa and its Diaspora that represent the dynamism of creativity from the continent today. AfriKin Art Fair 2025 – Through Creation, We Find Meaning: Scenes From Home. Curated by Dr. Joseph L. Underwood, Art Professor at Kent State University. Opening creative pathways for learning, understanding, and economic development, AfriKin nurtures artists, educates communities, and promotes sustainable cultural industries that inspire global connection.

Step into the world of AfriKin Art Fair 2025, Miami’s foremost celebration of African and African diasporic creativity. Now in its 11th year, AfriKin continues to define the cultural landscape with its unique curatorial vision—bridging art, culture, and innovation in an immersive and thought-provoking setting.

This year’s edition, Through Creation, We Find Meaning: Scenes From Home, draws inspiration from the lives and writings of global thinkers and revolutionaries who demonstrated how creativity becomes a lifeline in moments of solitude, struggle, and transformation. The fair invites audiences to explore how artistic expression serves as a conduit for meaning, a balm for suffering, and a portal to transcendence.

 

Sunday, November 30th from 6-9pm enjoy the AfriKin Art Fair Vernissage during Miami Art Week at the Scott Galvin Community Center.
