The Contemporary Art Modern Project (CAMP) presents Tender Repairs: A Sewing Workshop at CAMP Gallery

Saturday, March 28th from 12noon – 2pm join The Contemporary Art modern Project (CAMP Gallery) in North Miami for their third creative workshop activating the gallery for their current exhibition “Under The Red Tent.” The Contemporary Art Modern Project in collaboration with Red Thread Art Studio Miami is continuing with a series of activations for Under The Red Tent, on view at the gallery through April 26th.

This Saturday, March 28ths exhibiting artists Sarah Laing, Marine Fonteyne & Mila Hajjar are joining us with a beginner friendly sewing workshop.

Led by Sarah Laing, this workshop invites participants into a contemplative stitching practice where thread becomes a gesture of healing and quiet ritual. Through slow hand-sewing and visible mending, we explore fragility not as weakness, but as a sacred site of transformation. Each stitch acts as breath, intention, and witness — honoring what has been torn while choosing to remain in relationship with it.
