ARCHIFEED × CORAL GABLES MUSEUM Architecture Summer Workshop

Saturday, August 1st from 9am – 4pm the Coral Gables Museum, in collaboration with the architecture educational platform Archifeed, presents a hands-on Architecture Summer Workshop designed for high school students interested in architecture, design, art, engineering, and the built environment.

Through drawing, model-making, digital design, and collaborative design exercises, students will explore how architects think about space, structure, materials, and the relationship between buildings and their surroundings.

No prior experience is required.

WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN
Participants will be introduced to core architectural principles through freehand sketching, technical drawing, model making, and digital design. The program is structured around project-based work that strengthens creative thinking, spatial understanding, and the ability to communicate design ideas.

Students will also develop material for a portfolio, documenting their work throughout the workshop. This program is intended for high school students interested in architecture, design, art, engineering, or the built environment, particularly those considering future studies in these fields.
