Wednesday, January 16th through Sunday, January 20th, 2019 Art Palm Beach contemporary art fair returns for it’s 22nd year to the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Enjoy Art Synergy VI Exhibition at Art Palm Beach 2019, a juried exhibition of works selected by Erich Weiss. Art Synergy is a non profit organization, a unique countywide movement of artists, businesses and civic leaders committed to unifying and promoting the diverse culture of Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s vibrant arts community.
Erich Weiss is this year’s guest curator of the fair’s new dynamic art pavilions, Design, Art Video, and Performance Art. Weiss is currently the curator at large at Barcelona’s Picasso Museum, Rotterdam’s New Institute: Museum for Architecture, Design & Digital Culture and the Sonneveld House as well as an art critic and curator specializing in Dada and Surrealism. His recent museum exhibitions have included the works of Bruce Nauman, Ed Ruscha, Willem Oorebeek, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol Picabia, Magritte Man Ray, Duchamp as well as solo exhibitions at the Picasso Museum of the works of Rineke Kijkstra
( 2017), Arthur Cravan ( 2017), and Erwin Wurm 2018.He is also an artist known for his often-provocative performances and also for a contemporary body of work installations, film, video and photography.
