Wednesday, March 25th from 1 – 1:30pm enjoy Art in Focus Tour – Tobi Kahn’s “Sky & Water” at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. The Director & CEO leads a close look at RKYIA, Tobi Kahn’s multi-painting installation in the Museum’s Count & Countess de Hoernle Grand Hall. Guests will connect the work to Kahn’s long-running Sky & Water series, which treats the horizon where sky and water meet as a place for contemplation and memory.
Expect discussion of Kahn’s use of repeated panels, subtle shifts of blue, and a steady horizon to create a meditative rhythm, along with why he has called these paintings among his most spiritual.
