Boca Raton Museum of Art presents Calvin Reid: Art, Comics & the Book Industry

Sunday, July 7th from 3-4pm enjoy an art talk at the Boca Raton Museum of Art with Calvin Reid, the senior news editor of Publishers Weekly and leading expert in the field of comics, discusses how his life has been shaped by art, comics, and the book industry. Mr. Reid is a central figure in the rise and success of graphic novels as a publishing genre, and was instrumental in organizing the reading room in the exhibition Beyond the Cape! Comics and Contemporary Art.
