Thursday, February 14th through Monday, February 18th experience internationally collected visual artist & filmmaker Cheryl Maeder exhibiting with Galerie Mark Hachem/Paris, Booth AW330, at the eighth edition of Art Wynwood. The fair returns to Downtown Miami over President’s Day Weekend. Art Wynwood, will return for its eighth edition at the Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami site at One Herald Plaza on Biscayne Bay, one of the most prestigious and well-known waterfront locations in the City of Miami. The fair will open on Thursday, February 14th with a VIP Preview benefiting the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami), before opening to the public over Presidents Day Weekend, February 15th through 18th, 2019.
Maeder will be exhibiting a Framed Video Art Installations, The Voyage and Frequency Installations.
The Voyage is a metaphorical exploration paralleling the importance of life in all its forms. This film is about the existence of magic and enchantment that surrounds us; the connectedness of all life forms.
Frequency communicates through non-verbal language the vastness of the infinite universe. It takes us on a psychological journey- questioning whether our universe is just one or many co-existing parallels?
