Friends of NSU Art Museum Presents: Lecture & Luncheon with Speaker Dr. Armando Droulers

Friday, November 21st from 10:30am – 12pm Friends of NSU Art Museum presents a Lecture & Luncheon with Speaker Dr. Armando Droulers. RSVP HERE.
Robert Rauschenberg’s work was inspired by lifelong collaborations and a spirit of experimentation with new materials and techniques. He revolutionized the picture plane through the inclusion of everyday objects, which he termed ‘gifts from the street’, redefining and expanding the boundaries of what could be considered an artwork. Often working in collaboration with artists, dancers, musicians, and writers, he invented new interdisciplinary modes of artistic practice that helped set the course for the art of the present day.
