Tuesday, July 27th from 3-5pm join Mayor Francis Suarez at the Bakehouse Art Complex as he hosts a Cafecito talk on the emergence of NFTs in the art world. This event will discuss the intersection between the worlds of art and cryptocurrency; redefining the concept of ownership in the digital age. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) allow virtual images, and their original underlying code, to be sold as unique works of art, even if copies of those same images proliferate. RSVP/Purchase Tickets Here.
Honorable Mayor Francis X. Suarez will host a Cafecito talk on the emergence of NFTs in the world of art. Aside from the Cafecito talk, this event will highlight local artists and include streaming of an NFT Workshop that will provide instruction on minting.
