Saturday, July 26th from 11am – 12pm enjoy the Miami MoCAAD ARt+Tech Student Workshop at the North Miami Public Library. Discover the intersection of art and technology with the Miami MoCAAD Art + Tech Workshop, in collaboration with Tech Girl Power and the Miami-Dade Public Library.

An ARt + Tech workshop where you can unleash your imagination and explore the limitless possibilities of augmented reality. Open for students in Grades 6-9. This Event is FREE & Open to the Public | REGISTER HERE.

Complimentary parking on library premises.

Participants will have the chance to:

  • Work with prefabricated 3D assets
  • Incorporate personal media
  • Infuse cultural elements reflecting backgrounds and communities

Guided by prompts inspired by virtual reality artwork commissioned by Miami MoCAAD, featuring talented artists from Africa and the African Diaspora including Brazil, Haiti, Zimbabwe, and the United States (including Miami native, Mark Thomas Gibson).
