Mindy Solomon Gallery presents Linda Lopez & Mathew McConnell

Saturday, June 2nd from 6-9pm Mindy Solomon Gallery presents the opening reception of two simultaneous solo exhibitions: Intermission by Linda Lopez, and February, February by Mathew McConnell – the artists will be present.

Each show is a solo exhibition. Linda Lopez plays with form and creates shapes that imply a story without giving away the punch line. Mathew McConnell finds hidden messages in the depths of black charcoal. By mimicking pattern and repeating textures he creates a conversation that visually stimulates the viewer, creating replications that ultimately follow their own unique visual path. The exhibits run through July 21, 2018.
