Wednesday, May 20th at 6pm Oolite Arts presents Connect, a conversation series between two Ellies winners. For the next iteration of the program, Morel Doucet and Jenna Balfe will explore how their Creator Awards projects broadly address issues of climate change through sculpture and performance. Morel Doucet

A solo ceramic exhibition that looks at the ecological problems Miami faces, by examining the relationship between coral reef bleaching and the experiences of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora. View more images of Morel’s work here.

Jenna Balfe

Transnaturism will be an installation with choreography based on the Transhumanism movement, which looks at the cyclic disconnection between people, the environment and spirituality. View more images from Jenna’s project here.
