Deeply rooted in the modernist tradition of architectural making\, Tabanlioglu Architects have evolved an approach to design that has specific interest in cultural\, social\, political and geographic data stripped of the their stylistic and decorative preconceptions. Based in Istanbul\, Tabanlioglu aims to bring the essence of tropical Miami into the lounge which is a central feature in this prestigious international design event. The renowned artist creates unique works of art from his personal collection of rare tickets\, backstage passes and VIP laminates related to countless rock music events\, concerts and interviews that collectively trace the arc of his personal and professional life. The work incorporates signature design elements\, which include the concert tickets\, backstage passes\, hidden hippos\, symbols and musical phrases and song lyrics written in Hindi. The exhibition runs through January 31\, 2017.
