DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, November 29th from 6-9pm enjoy the Opening Reception of ‘When We Were Young‘\, an exhibition on view in the YoungArts Gallery\, featuring contemporary masterworks from the early years of the renowned JPMorgan Chase Art Collection\, paired with newly created works by YoungArts Visual Arts alumni. On view from November 29th through December 4th\, 2016 during Miami Art Week. Highlights on view will include Slate (1959) by Joan Mitchell\, Homage to the Square: In Late Red (1959) by Josef Albers\, 0 through 9 (1960) by Jasper Johns\, The Marine Works (1960 – 1962) by Robert Indiana and two untitled works from 1960 by Alma Thomas. Participating alumni work includes video and sculpture artist Amy Reid and painter and performing artist Annie Blazejack\, as well as sculptor\, photographer and video artist Cara Levine and painter Laini Nemett.
