DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, January 18th from 7-8:15pm join us at the Pérez Art Museum Miami in celebration of the third chapter of On the Horizon: Contemporary Cuban Art from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection\, when artists Carlos Garaicoa and Glexis Novoa have a discussion about their work and its relation to the chapter’s theme of Domestic Anxieties — a selection of works that explores everyday life and its attendant insecurities\, stresses\, and anxieties. Several works present images that map domestic interiors or intimate locations\, while others reference the art world as a political arena filled with specific pressures and uncertainties.
