SUMMARY:'Art With A Heart' Fundraiser at Gallery Art in Aventura
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, March 30th from 5:30-8:30pm join us at Gallery Art in Aventura for a special evening to raise awareness and funds to fight ALS\, Lou Gehrig’s disease. Ken Hendel and sister\, Amy Hendel\, owners of Gallery Art in Aventura are hosting this event to honor their brother\, Stu Hendel who was recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). The event’s purpose is to spread awareness about the disease and raise funds for ALS Worldwide\, a nonprofit organization that helps Stu and thousands like him in Florida and around the globe. 100% of the proceeds benefit ALS. Gallery Art is a fine art gallery with an 8\,000 sq. ft. showroom that features a world-class collection of artwork from artists such as Andy Warhol\, Roy Lichtenstein\, Keith Haring\, Pablo Picasso\, and many more. The evening will include a silent auction\, light refreshments\, music\, art tours\, a brief video presentation and engaging speakers.

DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, March 30th from 7-9pm join us for the Artist Reception of Synergism\, an exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in North Miami. The exhibition brings together paintings by Victor (1948–2015) and Ekaterina Khromin. Residents of Miami\, the Russian-born husband and wife chart an artistic territory quite their own\, painting on bas-reliefs that are\, in fact\, collages of found objects. Their works reveal pioneering approaches to art-making created by the synergy with the technologies of art conservation. \nAdmission: $10 | Open to the public.
