SUMMARY:NSU Art Roundtable: Rosemarie Chiarlone
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, August 15th from 12-1:30pm join Miami-based artist Rosemarie Chiarlone for a discussion at NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale focusing on the use of language as image and collaborative work methods to explore boundaries of human connection. The visual structure of text and its interplay of poetic meaning will be investigated through drawings\, videos\, book art and installations. Chiarlone has exhibited nationally and internationally and her work is included in such notable collections as the National Women in the Arts\, Washington D.C. and Center for Book Art\, New York and she is the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and Florida Visual Arts Fellowship\, among other awards and honors.\nFREE for museum members: $12 for non-members.
