DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 26th from 6-8pm The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery and Exhibition Hall presents Frank Contemporaries\, a pop-up exhibition showcasing emerging artists and creative community resources; an event that offers artists\, students\, arts professionals and industry insiders the opportunity to present their work\, discover new peers and supporters\, and foster professional connections.\nFrank Contemporaries will feature architectural designs and models by students and faculty of Florida Atlantic University’s School of Architecture. Situated within South Florida’s dynamic coastal and urban environment\, the School of Architecture provides a laboratory for investigating new tools\, integrative solutions and innovative methods of design in an era of disruption. This event will include a presentation by Associate Professor Jeff Huber on issues of sea level rise in south Florida and solutions in adaptive ecological\, landscape\, urban\, and architectural design.\nThis event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
