SUMMARY:Deering Estates presents Artist Talk: Amalia Caputo
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, August 22nd from 2-4pm the Deering Estate presents Every Being is an Island\, a solo exhibition by Amalia Caputo that deals with the intangible\, and often ambiguous\, relationship with memory. This most recent body of work from the titular series places Caputo’s experience as an artist-in-residence on display. Through a combined study on the micro and macro environments at Deering Estate\, visitors are offered the opportunity to enter the artist’s lens-based practice through her archive. The exhibition opened to the public on June 17th and runs through August 31\, 2021. This is a Free Event\, Open to the Public / RSVP HERE.
