DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 6th from 4-9pm enjoy the Opening Reception of STORIES of the Natural and Unnatural World\, a solo exhibition by Jeanne Jaffe at Miami Dade College (MDC) Hialeah Campus\, curated by Noor Blazekovic of Irreversible Projects. Jeanne Jaffe is a multi-disciplinary artist working in installation\, sculpture\, and stop motion animation. Her work is influenced by an interest in language\, literature\, psychology\, and history and explores how we construct identity\, our world and our value systems. This exhibition is on view October 6th – December 5th\, 2022. \nThis Event is Free & Open to the Public / RSVP HERE.

DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 6th from 5 – 9pm meet up on Pérez Art Museum Miami‘s (PAMM) beach to kick off PAMM’s Floating Films Series in collaboration with Ballyhoo Boats! In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month\, we will screen In the Heights by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jon M. Chu. This musical drama chronicles the life of a sympathetic New York bodega owner\, who saves every penny as he imagines a better life. \nThe film will be screened from the water and guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
