In celebration of National Novel Writing Month\, PAMM will screen the 2019 documentary Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am.  \nThis is an artful and intimate meditation on the life and works of the legendary storyteller and Nobel prize-winner. From her childhood in the steel town of Lorain\, Ohio\, to ʼ70s-era book tours with Muhammad Ali\, from the front lines with Angela Davis to her own riverfront writing room—Toni Morrison leads an assembly of her peers\, critics\, and colleagues on an exploration of race\, America\, history and the human condition as seen through the prism of her own literature. \nThe film will be screened from the water and guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. RSVP HERE. \nAbout Paperwater\nPaperwater is an avant-garde pop duo composed of Daygee Kwia and Eddy Samy. The group is based out of Miami\, FL and operates out of their multimedia compound Half/Full Creative. The duo met while in high school on the football team. Kwia was already producing and joined the hip-hop band After The Smoke in College at FAMU.
