DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 1st from 7-10pm you are cordially invited to opening of GBG ARTS Miami featuring local artists Rolando Chang Barrero of West Palm Beach\, and Muu Blanco Angulo from Miami. A duo exhibition in which both artists present two different perspectives about a controversial subject: gun control. Rolando Chang Barrero will be presenting work from his series School Supplies for the Next Generation\, which he first presented at the collective show “Ripped from the Headlines” and Muu Blanco’s video art is based on his series BlackPoint. This event is Free and Open to the Public. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 8th from 5-9pm experience the opening of CHIAROSCURO at WYN 317\, a solo exhibition featuring artist Amanda Valdes. Miami native Amanda Valdes’ work focuses on the female identity and the sirens who fill her works are typically manufactured with acrylic paint\, at times deconstructed with peroxide or embellished with pieces of broken mirror. She often uses spray paint\, colored pencil\, ink and watercolor as well. Valdes attended Florida Atlantic University and studied at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
