SUMMARY:Mylene Costa to Exhibit at Select Art 2026 at Villa Moma in Chania\, Crete
DESCRIPTION:May 23rd through Monday\, May 25th art lovers and global collectors are invited to experience the work of internationally collected\, award-winning Sculptor and Visual Artist Mylene Costa at Select Art 2026. taking place at the prestigious Villa Moma in Chania\, on the island of Crete in Greece. Select Art & Antique Fair is one of the leading art fairs in Greece\, bringing together artists\, galleries\, and collectors from around the globe. For this presentation\, the artist will be showing sculptures Guilhermina\, and Greta\, two works that continue Costa’s research into matter\, presence\, and the sculptural body. \n  \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nMiami artist Mylene Costa is a Brazilian sculptor of international recognition\, whose work stands out for its feminine power\, formal elegance\, and refined aesthetic sensitivity. Born in Cuiabá\, Brazil\, she has built a solid and authentic career\, dividing her life between Brazil and the United States. Married to Sérgio Jacinto Costa and mother of three\, she skillfully balances family life\, rural production\, and a flourishing artistic journey. Her sculpture is both language and thought — an invitation to contemplate the body\, form\, and memory. With a poetic and plural approach\, her work moves between the figurative and the abstract\, the structural and the symbolic\, unconstrained by technical or thematic limits. Each piece is born from the fusion of intuition and reflection\, evoking questions of time\, ancestry\, human relationships\, and the silence of expanding forms. Recognized for her unique artistic signature\, Mylene has exhibited in cultural centers across Europe\, Latin America\, and Brazil\, gaining increasing visibility in major contemporary art shows and attracting the attention of critics\, curators\, and collectors alike.
