Conversation will be based around From Observation—Chris Byrd a solo exhibition in the Project Gallery. Chris Byrd will be in conversation with Leyden Rodriguez-Casanova\, Co-founder & Co-director of DV.\nThe work of Chris Byrd is built upon a rigorously structured geometric abstract language that is simultaneously hard-edged and rational yet fluid\, lively\, and emotional. With such an approach\, the artist explores ideas concerning the making of meaning and the nature of existence. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from American University\, Washington\, DC\, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Atlanta College of Art\, Atlanta\, Georgia. The artist lives and works in Miami\, Florida.
