SUMMARY:The WMODA Treasure Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 5th from 10am – 4pm explore the treasure trove of fired arts at WMODA\, Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts. Find out if your prized porcelain or glass art is valuable museum quality from Linda Saft ISA AM\, an accredited appraiser of decorative arts. Linda will give verbal evaluations and there is a maximum of three items per person. Have your diamond jewelry evaluated by Michael Rousso\, an expert broker with over 30 years experience in these rare treasures from the earth. Watch master craftsman\, Alex Meiklejohn\, throw miniature ceramics on the potter’s wheel and have fun hunting for his mini works of art in our new Tiny Treasure Trail around the museum.\nYou will be amazed at how trash can be turned into treasure in the hands of artist\, Betsy Alexis\, who recycles discarded materials into whimsical jewelry. Find a literary treasure at the WMODA inaugural sale of second-hand books which will range from weighty tomes of scholarly research to popular collectors’ reference books.
