DESCRIPTION:Friday\, February 3rd at 6pm join us at de la Cruz Collection for a lecture with Walead Beshty. Enjoy a cocktail and dim-sum bar reception at 6pm and a lecture at 7pm\, featuring Walead Beshty – a British-born artist and writer best known for his work in photography and sculpture\, although his bodies of work span a large variety of media. Often addressing labor\, bodies and networks in relation to art objects and their production\, his work moves beyond the traditional confines of medium to create a rigorous and diverse artistic practice. These thematics extend into his large body of writing and curatorial projects\, which span the last fifteen years.
