Both were brought together under one brand to become The MiFo LGBT Film Festival in 2015\, with a seasonal event serving each city. Critically and internationally acclaimed\, it serves as a platform for numerous premiers and is the largest LGBT cultural arts event in South Florida.\nBecause of its increasing popularity and success\, MiFo has been rechristened to the OUTSHINE Film Festival\, underscoring its brightness\, broad appeal and dynamic multi-cultural location. SUMMARY:Emerson Dorsch presents Brookhart Jonquil: Endless Light in and Endless Night
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, April 25th from 5-10pm join us for a reception for artist Brookhard Jonquil at Emerson Dorsch. Jonquil’s next exhibition at Emerson Dorsch will explore the continuous cycles of expansion and rest that seem to be found in everything which changes through time. His sculptures take this dynamic as both the essential human drama\, and as our essential refuge from it. In the same way that a work of architecture shelters and becomes alive with the activity that fills it\, these works are perceptual environments that hold a continuous transformation of light and space. Exhibition will be on  view through May 25\, 2018.
