Interested in wildlife\, nature and fantastical imagery\, the Miami-based visual artist creates dream-like scenes and surrealistic illustrations.\nThe annual ChamberSOUTH Miami Art Festival is produced by ChamberSOUTH\, the chamber of commerce for greater south Miami-Dade. Their goal is to continue to provide our community with a quality fine art show that will both stimulate the local economy and increase the awareness of the arts.\nThis event is Free & Open to the Public. Through a deep technical exploration\, the work of Mario Gómez deals with the problems of color and material as agents of their own narrative\, devoid of guidelines that could possibly limit the purpose of the silent individuals inhabiting his landscapes. In his artwork persists the seeking of great spaces —sometimes wide open to the very infinity\, and sometimes crashing into big textured walls— that work as a framed holder of a wide variety of pictoric situations and saturated ambiences that unveil the successive practical investigation as the methodic approach of the artist.\nFree and open to the public / RSVP here.
