DESCRIPTION:Friday\, January 4th from 6-10pm experience The Misshapes and Get Face at the Institute of Contemporary Art\, Miami.  The Misshapes are a New York City based DJ duo composed of Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol. In their early 20s\, The Misshapes cultivated a worldwide following with the success of their downtown New York City dance party\, “Misshapes\,” founded with former member Greg Krelenstein. Through the four year party\, their celebrity\, fashion and art fans made The Misshapes one of today’s most sought after DJs and are widely recognized as global tastemakers and cultural influencers. Miami-based producer Get Face opens the night! First Fridays is a neighborhood-wide initiative celebrating art and performance in the Miami Design District. Explore ICA Miami’s exhibitions after dark\, and enjoy activities for guests of all ages—film screenings\, exhibition tours\, performances\, and more!\nMuseum guests are encouraged to explore various after-hours activations throughout the Miami Design District\, including world-class public art installations by Sol LeWitt\, Urs Fischer\, and Buckminster Fuller\, among others\, and a free Performance Series produced by 19-time Grammy© Award-winning producer Emilio Estefan in collaboration with Maestro Eduardo Marturet from The Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO).\nFirst Fridays at ICA Miami are free and open to the public\, and are presented by the museum’s Innovation Partner\, MINI.
