DESCRIPTION:Friday\, June 7th from 6-9pm enjoy the Opening Reception of Unshaped at Cornell Art Museum in Delray Beach. Unshaped is a group exhibition of LGBTQ+ artists exploring the confines of mediums and concepts\, asking for conversation on the physical and psychological boundaries we create and inherit. The exhibition opens in the Cornell Art Museum’s Spotlight Gallery in tandem with the First Friday Art Walk. Unshaped will be on view through June 29th\, 2019. The opening offers a cash bar and light bites.

Also on view that night is the museum’s permanent exhibition: Creating the Dream; George Merrick and his Vision for Coral Gables.\nAmong other amenities in the courtyard\, there will be live music in collaboration with the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music\, a cash bar and light bites. This event is brought to you on the first Friday of every month\, in conjunction with Coral Gables Gallery Night.

Guests will enjoy a Film Screening at 7:30pm\, Q & A with Filmmakers Jeremy Chandler and Shawn Cheathan. Subverisve Suburbia features artists Kate MacDowell\, Scot Sothern\, Generic Art Solutions (GAS) the collaborative efforts of Matt Vis and Tony Campbell.
