SUMMARY:Jazz at MOCA × Dirty Works
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 30th at 8pm enjoy an evening of jazz at the Museum of Contemporary Art\, North Miami (MOCA NoMi) with Dirty Works. Gaucho takes its name from an album done by Steely Dan\, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers who helped define the soundtrack of the ’70s. Is it jazz? Rock? Fusion? Acid? Metal?—Whatever you call it the level of musicianship is at its height. Their presentation is flawless. Every solo is a lesson in performance art.\nLed by bassist James McCoy with saxophonist/vocalist Greg Diaz\, pianists Pete Wallace or David Siegel\, guitarist Lindsay Blair\, and other outstanding musicians\, Gaucho faithfully recreates the music of Steely Dan to the delight of audiences throughout South Florida. Expect to hear all your old favorites: Peg\, Rikki Don’t Lose that Number\, Reelin’ in the Years\, Bodhisattva\, Deacon Blues\, Babylon Sister\, and many more top hits.\nFree Event\, Rain or Shine. RSVP here.
