SUMMARY:University of Miami Wynwood Gallery 2020 Faculty Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, January 13th from 10am – 3pm the University of Miami Wynwood Gallery will re-open on a limited basis to University of Miami faculty & students. The gallery will remain closed to the general public for the time being. “We will continue to monitor the pandemic and follow CDC and University of Miami guidelines closely.” Annual Faculty Exhibition Extended through January 22\, 2021.\nOn view is the recent works of faculty artists from the Department of Art and Art History. To schedule a visit\, please contact Milly Cardoso\, Gallery Director at m.cardoso1@miami.edu\, or call (305) 284-3161.\nGallery hours are Wednesday – Friday\, 10 am – 3 pm. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 16th through Sunday\, January 24th experience the 3rd Annual Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week (FTLADW) with a hybrid online & in person schedule full of exploration throughout the Greater Fort Lauderdale community in Broward County. Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week is a result of the desire to unite all of Broward County’s artists and arts & cultural institutions in an effort to highlight all that the county has to offer through an annual self-guided tour and celebration of everything art and culture throughout the Greater Fort Lauderdale area with the ultimate goal of establishing Fort Lauderdale as an international cultural destination.\nThe week helps showcase the vast amount of cultural opportunities Broward County has to offer residents\, collectors\, dealers\, art enthusiasts and visitors and also be a platform for research and promotion of the arts\, its relationship to the community and discussions over contemporary art trends in the areas of the Arts\, Architecture\, Cinema\, Dance\, Music\, and Theater.
