SUMMARY:WMODA presents Believe the Impossible: 'Resonance'
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 22nd\, from 11-11:30am and again from 2-2:30pm experience a live\, sound\, light\, music\, glass performance of Resonance at WMODA Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts in Dania Beach\, Florida. Dave Rosenthal & Rob Stern will unite glass and sound in their improvisational dialogue with unusual instruments made and played by Rob and keyboard responses composed by Dave to create a musical score of synthesized sounds. Rob and Dave’s innovative performances of Resonance at WMODA symbolize the cycle of life and creation in the glassmaking process. This immersive sensory experience will create a visceral response and expand perceptions of glass\, the power of sound and their intersection. \nResonance at WMODA celebrates the United Nations International Year of Glass and Fort Lauderdale Art & Design Week. This performance was made possible with support from Broward County Cultural Division. \nAdmission to WMODA is free that day. Limited pre-reserved seats for the Resonance performances at 11am and 2pm on Saturday\, January 22 are now available for a $10 donation to the museum.
