The first livestream of the miniMakers Workshops\, in this special edition\, join artist and educator Edwin Hernandez-Mojica in a livestream painting session where you can paint along step by step to create your own miniMasterpiece inspired by the artist Vincent van Gogh.\nTo follow along\, you’ll need:\n* Canvas (9” x 12” or 11” x 14”) (cardboard works too!)\n* Acrylics set\n* Brushes (3 to 5\, in different sizes)\n* Napkins or paper towels\n* Cup with water\n* Paper plate or palette​\n* Blow dryer​\n* An old shirt or apron to stay clean (optional) \nminiMakers are free workshops on the first Saturday of every month for kids ages 6–12\, sponsored by the South Florida Auto Dealers Association.

Join PTAC for an afternoon of art-making on Instagram Live inspired by the work of Miami-based artist Anastasia Samoylova. Make art alongside PAMM teens and learn more about their new initiative “Quaranteen\,” launching on April 11. “Quaranteen” will feature artwork by teens\, curated by teens—so make sure to tune in for details on how to be a part of this digital gallery.\nWhile the museum is currently closed to the public\, this program will be offered digitally on Instagram Live @pamm. This leisure canoeing experience led by Miami EcoAdventures and Coral Gables Museum staff encompasses both nature and history in a delightful blend of unique natural vistas and historic landmarks. Explore Gables’ manmade system of canals\, which added an impressive 40 miles of waterfront to the City – from Biscayne Bay through the residential section\, to the grand golf course at the Biltmore Hotel. A surprising amount of wildlife can be seen in the water and on the shore.\nRegistrants will meet at the Coral Gables Museum at 9:30am and start with a self-guided audio tour* of “Creating the Dream: George E. Merrick and His Vision for Coral Gables.” Then board a bus to the Waterway and onto your canoe for a two-hour paddling adventure! *Guests may also catch a 1pm guided exhibit tour after the canoe tour. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, April 30th from 6-6:30pm experience a live\, virtual ‘Local Views at PAMM’\, with Miami artist Rhea Leonard at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Enjoy PAMM’s in-gallery tour program\, Local Views at PAMM is where select local artists speak about a few works of art currently on view at the museum. This month\, Rhea Leonard will lead the tour on Facebook Live. Born and raised in South Florida\, African American artist Rhea Leonard (b. 1991) utilizes drawing\, printmaking and sculpture within her art practice. She explores topics highlighting the Black body and how society affects Black psychology through her detailed\, and poignant figurative works. She received her MFA from Florida International University and her BFA from University of Florida through New World School of the Arts College. She is currently a resident of The Bakehouse Art Complex in Miami\, Florida.​\nLocal Views at PAMM gives visitors a first-hand interaction with local artists by creating conversations centered around art and the creative process.
