A graduate of the Frost School of Music\, Hamann recently released her latest album\, “Momentary Beauty\,” a concept album telling a long love story. By using her trumpet and voice to make them seem like one continuous instrument\, she aims to bridge the gap between instrumental and vocal music. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 10th from 11am – 3pm as part of PAMM Free Second Saturdays at the Pérez Art Museum Miami\, create artwork inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition\, Leandro Ehrlich: Liminal. Erlich plays with our senses by inserting us into familiar environments while we also experience the unknown. We arrive in these spaces of feeling between two worlds by looking at his uncanny creations. Create your own environment with some transparent paper\, collage paper\, and markers\, to change the world around you as you shape your own “Minimal Montage.” For the rest of the day\, you can explore the galleries\, grab a meal at Verde\, or sit back and enjoy the breeze on the waterfront terrace. \nAdmission is free all day. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 10th from Noon – 1:30pm experience Creativity Exploration: Set Sail at NSU Art Museum in Fort Lauderdale. Reflect upon the waves of change\, as well as high and low tides of life that you have experienced. Craft a vessel using mixed media supplies\, inspired by the paintings of Malcolm Morley\, and celebrate the journey you have made to be here now. Advance reservations are required\, space is limited. RSVP HERE. \n\nCreativity Exploration adult workshops promote the benefits of creative exploration and the mind-to-body experience. Studies have shown that 45 minutes of creative activity a day reduces stress and offers mental clarity and relaxation. In addition to producing a sense of well-being\, sessions expand participants’ perceptions of forms\, while increasing brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation.
