SUMMARY:PAMM Museum Circle Preview: Jason Seife: Coming to Fruition
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, May 17th from 5:30 – 8pm Pérez Art Museum Miami’s Museum Circle members are invited to join artist Jason Seife and PAMM Assistant Curator Maritza Lacayo for a special reception and exclusive preview of Seife’s first solo exhibition in the United States. Born and raised in Miami\, Seife is the son of immigrants\, particularly of Cuban and Syrian descent. His practice centers on his Middle Eastern heritage\, referencing Persian carpets and the intricate details found in mosques and other forms of Islamic art.
