DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, February 20th from 6 – 9pm The Bass presents Third Thursdays: Late Nights Live. Guests will enjoy a performance by Hued Songs. \n6 PM Doors open\n7 PM Performance (40 min) \nBuilding belonging\, empathy\, and community for all\, Hued Songs weaves and performs a tapestry of song and spoken word at The Bass by an all-women cast\, centering female resistance\, freedom and liberation of self. \nABOUT HUED SONGS\nHued Songs produces experiences that amplify black joy\, black creativity\, and black belonging/ Through song\, spoken word\, dance\, and heart\, our work is rooted across three core principles: 1) To provide a platform on which black and brown artists can be seen\, heard\, and paid. 2) The arts are a right and not a privilege\, thus we work to remove cost\, geography\, and perception barriers to every performance. 3) Every performance is an opportunity to build belonging\, empathy\, and community for all. \n
