Lacayo for a special reception and exclusive preview of their first solo museum exhibition at the Pérez Art Museum Miami’s (PAMM). Exclusively for Museum Circle-level members and above. RSVP HERE. \nIdentical twins and first-generation Cuban-Americans\, Elliot & Erick Jiménez (b. 1989\, Miami) were born and raised in Miami by Cuban immigrants and now reside between Miami and New York. Their photographic practice began from an early passion for art history and influences derived from a spiritual upbringing and exposure to the Lucumí religion—a syncretic religion that combines both Yoruba and Catholic imagery. Inspired by paintings\, their work portrays the ephemeral nature of light and color through experimental photographic techniques.
