Moderated by Bakehouse Curatorial + Public Programs Manager\, Krys Ortega\, the program features the artists Christine Cortes\, Lee Pivnik\, and Zoe Schweiger whose work is featured in the exhibition Strange Natures\, currently on-view in the Swenson Gallery of the Bakehouse Art Complex. This Event is Free & Open to the Public | RSVP HERE. \nThis conversation explores the intersections of care\, resilience\, and world-building\, grounded in the unique ecology of South Florida and reflected more broadly in the artists’ practices. It will also consider how the artists envision alternate realities that shift between dystopia and utopia\, the present and future\, the familiar and strange.
