SUMMARY:Adrienne Arsht Center presents Brushes with Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 25th at 6pm art lovers\, collectors\, and the Miami community are invited to experience an extraordinary evening of creativity\, connection\, and courage at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Brushes With Cancer\, an artistic celebration of hope and healing\, culminates with a special art viewing and silent auction on Thursday\, September 25\, 2025\, at 6pm in the Knight Concert Hall Lobby. The viewing is free and open to the public. RSVP HERE. \nNow in its second year\, the Arsht program is presented in collaboration with the international Brushes With Cancer program\, pairing accomplished artists with “inspirations\,” people whose lives have been impacted by cancer as previvors\, current patients\, survivors or caregivers. The artists bring to life the inspirations’ twist on cancer — stories\, feelings and experiences — with works of art that represent the inspirations’ personal journey with the disease. \nThe program finishes on a high note with a celebratory art viewing at the Arsht. The event is open to program participants\, families\, artists and the Miami community. The evening will include a silent auction\, refreshments and remarks by program participants.
