Inside the museum\, take a tour\, participate in art-making activities with local artists\, or explore new exhibitions and permanent collection galleries until 9pm. \n  \nAbout Brahm Masla\nBrahm Masla is a drummer\, multi-instrumentalist\, vocalist\, songwriter\, and producer based in Miami\, FL. He prides himself on his diverse musical background and experiences that have taken him across the globe from the San José Jazz Fest in California\, to the Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro Brazil\, to the nitty gritty night clubs of New York City. Masla recently released his debut EP “And we were names” available on all streaming platforms. He currently leads his own bands BRAHM\, June Arc\, and the Earth Trio.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, August 26th from 11am – 12:30pm join the Pérez Art Museum Miami for another fun edition of PAMM Art Storytime inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition\, Joan Didion: What She Means. Free with RSVP. Space is limited. Pre-registration required / RSVP HERE. \nExcited young readers and their caregivers will enjoy a short museum tour including a photograph of author Joan Didion\, taken by Brigitte Lacombe\, and engage in the concept of building a narrative. Guests will then enjoy a reading of “Pierre” by Maurice Sendak\, a book that explores interesting characters\, settings\, plots\, and a moral lesson. Finally\, young readers will create storyboards of their own.
