DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, September 8th through Saturday\, September 12th art collectors\, curators\, art professionals\, and art lovers are invited to experience Tsika Dzedu: Zimbabwe National Exhibition & Competition 2026\, presented by Artgal.Online at the Artgal Zim Center in Domboshava\, Zimbabwe\, from September 8–12\, 2026. \nBringing together Zimbabwean artists and the broader cultural community\, Tsika Dzedu provides a platform for artistic expression\, cultural exchange\, and the celebration of contemporary Zimbabwean art. The exhibition and competition reflect Artgal.Online and Artgal Zim Center’s commitment to supporting both established and emerging artists while creating greater visibility for Zimbabwean art. \nThe event will culminate in a vernissage and awards ceremony on Saturday\, September 12th celebrating the participating artists and competition winners. \nFollowing the September 8–12 event\, the selected artworks will remain on exhibition at the Artgal Zim Center for an additional three weeks\, providing audiences with an extended opportunity to experience the exhibition from September 13th through October 3rd\, 2026. \n

SUMMARY:Adrienne Arsht Center presents Brushes With Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 24th at 6pm the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts invites art lovers\, collectors\, and the Miami community to experience Brushes With Cancer\, a program of Twist Out Cancer that pairs artists with people whose lives have been touched by cancer\, including previvors\, survivors and caregivers. Together\, they create powerful works of art inspired by each person’s unique story and journey. All are invited to enjoy the Opening Reception of Brushes With Cancer\, with a special art viewing and silent auction\, featuring original works of art created through this transformative program in the Knight Concert Hall Lobby. This event is free and open to the public. RSVP HERE. \nNow in its third year\, the Arsht program is presented in collaboration with the international Brushes With Cancer program\, pairing accomplished artists with “inspirations\,” people whose lives have been impacted by cancer as previvors\, current patients\, survivors or caregivers. The artists bring to life the inspirations’ twist on cancer — stories\, feelings and experiences — with works of art that represent the inspirations’ personal journey with the disease. \nThe program finishes on a high note with a celebratory art viewing at the Arsht. The event is open to program participants\, families\, artists and the Miami community. The evening will include a silent auction\, refreshments and remarks by program participants. \n
