DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 10th from 11am – 3pm as part of PAMM Free Second Saturdays at the Pérez Art Museum Miami\, create artwork inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition\, Leandro Ehrlich: Liminal. Erlich plays with our senses by inserting us into familiar environments while we also experience the unknown. We arrive in these spaces of feeling between two worlds by looking at his uncanny creations. Create your own environment with some transparent paper\, collage paper\, and markers\, to change the world around you as you shape your own “Minimal Montage.” For the rest of the day\, you can explore the galleries\, grab a meal at Verde\, or sit back and enjoy the breeze on the waterfront terrace. \nAdmission is free all day. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 17th from 10am – 4pm enjoy Hue & Me: An Exploration of Light\, Color\, and Perception at the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Educators are invited to join Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for an interactive workshop\, engaging in the dynamic explorations of color and light\, anchored by Carlos Cruz-Diez’s Chromosaturation. How do light\, color\, and perception play a role in our lives? How can they drive the artistic process and what can they teach us about the world? PAMM’s teaching artists will facilitate inquiry-driven conversations about modern and contemporary art and facilitate an artmaking workshop with broad interdisciplinary applications. While this session highlights STEAM connections\, it is open to educators from all grade levels and subject areas.
