Art Palm Beach is a leading international modern and contemporary art fair as well as the most important annual art event in The Palm Beaches. The fair\, founded in 1997\, is held in West Palm Beach and exhibits the works of international artists\, ranging from “the most promising emerging talent” to masters.\nErich Weiss will be this year’s guest curator of the fair’s new pavilions for art video\, design and art performances. Weiss is currently the curator at large at Barcelona’s Picasso Museum\, Rotterdam Institute: Museum for Architecture\, Design & Digital Culture\, as well as an art critic and curator specializing in Dada and Surrealism. Enjoy Art Synergy VI Exhibition at Art Palm Beach 2019\, a juried exhibition of works selected by Erich Weiss. Art Synergy is a non profit organization\, a unique countywide movement of artists\, businesses and civic leaders committed to unifying and promoting the diverse culture of Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s vibrant arts community.\nErich Weiss is this year’s guest curator of the fair’s new dynamic art pavilions\, Design\, Art Video\, and Performance Art. Weiss is currently the curator at large at Barcelona’s Picasso Museum\, Rotterdam’s New Institute: Museum for Architecture\, Design & Digital Culture and the Sonneveld House as well as an art critic and curator specializing in Dada and Surrealism. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, January 17th from 7-9pm join us for an Art Talk and Happy Hour at Sagamore\, the iconic Art Hotel on Miami Beach — hosted by Sebastien Laboureau\, Resident Art Advisor of Sagamore Hotel. Guests will enjoy an interview with Bertrand Scholler\, the visionary creator of FRAME\, Incubators of Art Experiences. The Art Talk will discuss the current exhibit of FRAME\, now on view at the SAGAMORE through March 31\, 2019\, and also talk about the drastic changes of the art market and the art fair industry.\nThe exhibition at SAGAMORE produced by FRAME is an ambitious show\, which includes an extensive solo exhibition by Jason Newsted. The exceptional exhibit is a survey of 12 years of work\, along with new\, site-specific installations that reflect Newsted’s lifelong commitment to painting inspired by his extensive career as a Grammy-Award winning musician. As the former bassist and vocalist of Metallica\, his visual display illustrates the dynamic parallel between music\, history and human expressions. In addition to Newsted’s work\, the FRAME exhibition at SAGAMORE also includes a showcase of more than 100 original pieces\, created by over 30 international artists from France\, China\, Iran\, Colombia\, South Africa\, Senegal\, United States\, Spain\, Hungary and Switzerland.
