DESCRIPTION:Friday\, March 8th from 7-9pm experience the performance art-pop psychedelic duo Princess (Alexis Gideon and Michael O’Neill) at The Bass\, the duo will perform the Miami premiere of their live narrative video album ‘Out There’.\nPart of the world premiere tour\, Overtime at The Bass presents the psychedelic art band\, Princess\, and their latest performance piece\, Out There. Out There (2019; 4K video\, live performance; 55:20min) is a concept video album and live performance piece that explores the role men ought to be playing during the current cultural reckoning of misogyny. The video’s science fiction narrative explores the power of the Divine Feminine through collaborations with JD Samson\, visual artist Jennifer Meridian\, and the band TEEN. Out There references the original power of MTV and builds on the long legacy of concept albums like Ziggy Stardust and Deltron 3030.
