The dark and violent tragedy\, Macbeth\, is the tale of love\, and the burning desire for power at any cost\, told through the eyes of a couple bound together in their ambition for the Scottish throne. Driven by the prophesy of three witches\, and the schemes of his wife\, Macbeth kills his king\, claims his throne\, thus beginning a moral descent into a reign of terror. Macbeth is Shakespeare’s most accessible play in terms of language and plot. Starring Seth Trucks as Macbeth. Directed by Colleen Stovall. Free with no tickets required. DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, January 15th from 7-9pm experience an Art Talk at the Sagamore with Resident Art Advisor Sebastien Laboureau for the hotel’s wildlife-inspired exhibition\, “I’m Not A Trophy” by Arno Elias.\nThe Sagamore Hotel invites guests to join Resident Art Advisor\, Sebastien Laboureau and special guest Bernard Markowicz of Markowicz Fine Art for an evening discussing the inspiration behind the artwork on display as part of the hotel’s newest exhibition that debuted during Miami Art Week\, “I’m Not a Trophy” by esteemed French artist and wildlife photographer\,  Arno Elias. “I’m Not a Trophy” is an exhibition entirely dedicated to endangered species and indigenous cultures and will include iconic African animals\, such as lions\, elephants\, rhinoceros\, gorillas\, giraffes\, cheetahs and the last of wild tigers in India\, but also numerous portraits and artifacts from some of the African Tribes whose lives depend on a fragile ecosystem.\nSebastien and Bernard will dive in and take a closer look at wildlife conservation messages behind the beautiful pieces that comprise of “I’m Not a Trophy” that is on display 24/7 through February 2020.
