The first livestream of the miniMakers Workshops\, in this special edition\, join artist and educator Edwin Hernandez-Mojica in a livestream painting session where you can paint along step by step to create your own miniMasterpiece inspired by the artist Vincent van Gogh.\nTo follow along\, you’ll need:\n* Canvas (9” x 12” or 11” x 14”) (cardboard works too!)\n* Acrylics set\n* Brushes (3 to 5\, in different sizes)\n* Napkins or paper towels\n* Cup with water\n* Paper plate or palette​\n* Blow dryer​\n* An old shirt or apron to stay clean (optional) \nminiMakers are free workshops on the first Saturday of every month for kids ages 6–12\, sponsored by the South Florida Auto Dealers Association.

LEBO will be working on some new pieces for “Pleasures & Treasures” with Tux\, he’ll be giving them away as well as auctioning some pieces he found at antique stores around the country way back when.\nDavid Le Batard\, aka LEBO\, is a Cuban-American graphic and fine artist based in Miami\, Florida. He is best known for his eye-catching murals\, live painting\, and sculpture. LEBO has been described as one of South Florida’s “most recognizable artists”\, and “almost an institution” in the art world for his wide range of media\, projects\, and locations.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 11th from 2 – 6pm Oolite Arts presents a Multi-Media Printmaking one-day workshop. This is a printmaking workshop that explores various approaches for creating mono-prints by combining three printing techniques. The printmaker will learn how to compose an image by utilizing a gel print as a background and then printing another layer with a lino-cut image while adding the process of chine-collé. This approach is excellent for creatives who want to examine a “mixed-bag” of printmaking methods to create unique artworks. Tune in for the first Virtual Teen Art Force class. MOCA’s Curator of Education\, Amanda Covach\, will lead this Drawing & Portfolio class. Celebrate the everyday and learn to draw a still-life using graphite or charcoal\, a great addition to anyone’s portfolio. Registered and new students are welcome.​ Prepare and acquire basic skills for student or professional portfolios. Enhance existing work or receive help to create work that will help fortify any college or job application. Includes gestural and figurative drawing\, still life painting\, and other foundation projects.\nMOCA Teen Art Force is a series of free art classes for teens ages 13–17. They run Monday- Friday from 4–6pm. MOCA Teen Art Force students also complete service projects\, attend free field trips to fellow art institutions\, and have the opportunity to showcase their work at MOCA.
