SUMMARY:The Official Art Deco Walking Tour by the Miami Design Preservation League
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 2nd from 10:30am – 12:30pm enjoy the Art Deco District Walking Tour hosted by the Miami Design Preservation League. Online ticket sales stop a day prior to the tour. Arrive 30 minutes before tour start to purchase your ticket on-site. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase tours online in order to reduce processing time on the morning of the tour. RSVP here.\nAll tour takers are required to wear a facial covering/mask to comply with COVID-19 laws of the City of Miami Beach and Miami-Dade County. Masks are available for purchase on-site at the Gift Shop. Tour takers will be provided with a sanitized wireless receiver and headphones which will transmit audio from the tour guide\, in order to allow for social distancing of at least 6 feet between tour takers.\nTour ticket includes free entry to the Art Deco Museum as well as 10% off at the Gift Shop. Please note\, the Museum is closed on Wednesdays.\nArt Deco District Walking Tour: This 1 1/2 to 2-hour walking tour provides an introduction to the Art Deco\, Mediterranean Revival\, and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles found within the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Explore hotels\, restaurants\, and other commercial structures with a visit to a number of interiors. All tours are $30 and the Senior\, Student\, Military\, and Child discount only apply to the regular 10:30 AM tour. All tours are rain or shine. Please dress for the weather as there are no refunds for inclement conditions.
