This 1.5 to 2-hour walking tour provides an introduction to the Art Deco\, Mediterranean Revival\, and Miami Modern (MiMo) styles found within the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Explore hotels\, restaurants\, and other commercial structures with a visit to a number of interiors. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 16th from 6 – 9pm enjoy Third Thursdays at The Bass\, featuring The Bass Dialogues with Assume Vivid Astro Focus. Moderated by Claudia Mattos\, Associate Curator of New Media at The Bass\, this vibrant conversation will share the origins and evolution of XI\, discuss avaf’s practice of inclusion\, collaboration\, and experimentation\, as well as the role of exhibitions as a platform to create immersive environments to foster community and expression. The conversation with the artist will be followed by a performance by Tiffany Fantasia and friends in the XI gallery. The performance is recommended for ages 18 and over.
